1995: First Presbyterian Church

Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

On the northeast corner of NW 25th and Western stands this awe inspiring Gothic Church built in the 1950’s with soaring ceilings and carved oak paneling, the top of the steeple can be seen for miles. The worship center seats 1400 and contains four pipe organs. The sound system is hidden in fourteen chandeliers which hang above the sanctuary. A total of 73 stained glass windows adorn the church created by Willet Hauser Architectural Glass Company known as the world’s largest stained glass company. Dr. Henry Lee Willet, president of Willet Studios at the time of construction, referred to the stained glass windows as the “Jewels of the Southwest” at their dedication on November 29, 1964.
